There used to be an African country of male chauvinism. We still have that country but men no longer control an important aspect of it: Violence!
The violent rage of Kisii men is gone. The arrogant anger of Luo men is gone. The kikuyu man is ever on the wanted list. sad! Â So what happened? When did the rain start beating men?
A recent study reveals chilling statistics that women now fully control violence at home, beating up men like God knows how. Those unlucky get knifed in the lower abdomen or clubbed to death with a rungu. For the professional husband barterers, they hire for you some goons lurking in town who summarily mishandle your life to death.
What a sad time to live as a man! During my grandfather’s days; women were beaten ‘out of love’ and they wailed rhythmically also ‘out of love’. Later, they would dutifully get in the kitchen and cook their husbands good food while weeping silently and waiting for the bedtime. Tomorrow, you would not imagine she was the same woman clobbered yesterday. So happy!
You see, that’s how things were back in the day. Violence was not enmity. Violence was not savagery. Violence was love! Â It was An African way of life before the Beijing Conference and something called ”women’s movement”. Fast forward to now and these chilling statistics really really unnerves. May be, with the current “LOOK EAST” policy, Â a few men should take a flight back to Beijing II.
According to the survey, women kill for wealth. Women just want to be wealthy without men. No, women want to be wealthy on dead men. Sad! Take for example the brutal death of Moses Gituma for which the wife, Janet Gatima, paid the executioners Sh30,000 to send the man to hell, or heaven, or wherever!
Mr Gatima had Sh45 million, payable to the next of kin, in his bank account. Even as this woman killed a hardworking husband, investigations reveal that Gatimu had actually listed her -ALONE- as the sole beneficiary!
While sending this woman to jail, Justice Nicholas Ombija remarked, “There is no doubt that you chose to kill a person. Since choices have consequences, those who live by the sword shall die by the sword.â€
