SHOCK: UHURU Met (invites only) Jubilee allied Media Editors at Norfolk

November 2, 2013

Reports indicate President Uhuru Kenyatta may have met with senior editors of most media houses at an invites-only dinner two weeks ago, a source in Nairobi has revealed. As members of the media (ooh, ‘us’) continue to whine and curse parliament, the president held a cocktail with Jubilee allied media houses where the Bill, among other things, is believed to have been discussed.

“That was two weeks ago! Through Norfolk State House cocktail for the media editors where jubilee allied scribes were invited,” confirmed a junior sub-editor of one of the media houses who told this writer his boss attended.

While the media has presented the Bill saga as a shocker, something they neither expected nor were prepared for, these new revelations of the  behind-the-scenes intrigues that led to the signing of the Bill points to a well orchestrated scoop where the media, recently accused by the opposition as increasingly becoming ‘non-factual and malicious’, only want to regain the dwindling public support.

“Most of them went there, at Norfolk. . .this whole drama is just being stage managed,” added the source whom we cannot name to protect his job.

More details to follow.
