‘Police’ THREATEN to KILL a BLOGGER associated with Raila’s ODM for his Facebook posts
A Kenyan of Kisii tribe who supports Raila online via Facebook was today harassed by two men believed to be police officers, the two men who were on plain cloths stopped the blogger on Friday morning as he was just about to enter Safaricom customer care centre in Nairobi’s Kenya Avenue.
The Blogger who goes by name Caleb is one of the few many online volunteers who blog and often defend Raila Odinga. Unlike Uhuru who is rumoured to spend a fortune on high premium bloggers to peddle whatever message his party or handlers want via social media, Raila depends on mostly volunteers.
The Coalition of Raila’s Online Lobbyists condemned the act and called on the Inspector General of Police to stop his staff being used for partisan politics. They promised to mobilize thousands of CORD supporters to accompany the blogger to Central Police Station to record a statement.
Here is the post he made shortly afterwards.
Drama that has just happened to me this morning:
As I alight a vehicle at Kenyatta avenue headed to Safaricom shop in I&M building, was stopped by 2 men in black suits, in a very busy corridor.
We excused ourselves to the middle of packed cars.
here is our conversation;
Stranger1: Are you Caleb
Stranger1: We know you are unreasonable answer our question
Me: I answer questions I consider reasonable and sensible
Stranger1: Are you Luo?
Me: What does my tribe has to do with this conversation?
Stranger2: He purports to be kisii, but his conduct purely for stupid Luo.
Stranger1: I want us to agree on something, its either you cooperate with us or you face it
Me: Face what? I choose face it.
Stranger1: You are such a stupid Luo.
Me: Good of you.
Stranger1: We will come for your head anytime
Me: Please do, I wish to die a hero.
They walked away towards GPO as I proceeded to Safaricom customer care for my business. I wonder if this Nation will ever achieve cohesion.
I was born Kisii and am proud kenyan, I love Luos because of their passion for a justy and fair nation for all.
Those who think intimidations will scare us from our fight for call for a Kenya for all are only wasting their time.
The fact is all of us shall die one time.
