Senator Mike Sonko is the latest victim of discrimination at the controversial Chinese Restaurant located at the junction of Galana and Lenana roads, Nairobi. The Restaurant has hit the news headlines for discriminating against Africans by denying them entry past 1700Hours.
Senator Sonko stormed the hotel and called out to be served but was ignored by staff at the hotel, after waiting for several minutes without any service Sonko then decided to venture into the Kitchen to check out if there was anything extra ordinary.
In the Kitchen, Sonko met a Chinese chef/cook who to his surprise speaks fluent Swahili. (watch video below)
The revelation that Senator Sonko was discriminated is contrary to media reports indicating that he and former Foreign Affairs minister Raphael Tuju were among the few privileged individuals allowed entry into the controversial Chinese Restaurant past 1700hours
A video footage leaked online by a Chinese patron shows Sonko chatting with a Chinese chef inside the Kitchen of the Restaurant. Although Sonko managed to force his way into the hotel he was not served.
