REVEALED: Ghost faces behind new Jubilee Alliance Party had registered another briefcase party

REVEALED: Ghost faces behind new Jubilee Alliance Party had registered another briefcase party

January 16, 2015

At least three people whose names appear as the new party office bearers for the newly formed President Uhuru’s potential 2017 political vehicle had secretly registered another party.

In a gazette notice no. 150 by the political parties Registrar Lucy Ndung’u, the three, Nelson Dzuya, Veronica Nduati and Alfred Kipkorir Mutai changed the particulars of the Conservative Party to their names, with Veronica as Secretary General, Nelson as Chairperson and Mutai as treasurer.

The gazette notice dated Jan 7 this year brings a new twist to the new Jubilee Alliance Party allegedly formed after the current Jubilee regime parties agreed to dissolve and create a major party.

The old officials of the Conservative Party whom the new team of Nzuya took over from included Ruth Wanjiku Njoroge as Chairperson, Joseph Ouma Muga as Secretary General and Sarah Wambui Ngatho as Treasurer.

However, in the new Jubilee Alliance Party, allegedly formed last year in December, the officials are joined by David Murage who is former Gatanga MP as Deputy Chairperson while others are Caleb Kositany and Fatuma Mohamud Mohammed.

The new party has also roped in the son to former Defence minister Yusuf Hajji who rescued trapped people at Westage. The man, Abdul Haji shall be the Organising Secretary while Pamela Mutua as his deputy.

Completely ejected from the lineup of this new outfit is TNA Chairman Johnson Sakaja, URP’s treasurer Fred Muteti and Onyango Oloo.

The big question is, can one be official of two political parties at the same time of what is the role of Political party’s register?
