Raila Praises Mombasa County Government for their Total Committment to DEVOLUTION

RAILA PRAISES MOMBASA COUNTY GOV’T COMMITMENT TO DEVOLUTION

CORD leader Raila Odinga has praised Mombasa Governor Hassan Ali Joho and hailed his commitment to devolution.

Raila was speaking following an extended tour of the trade exhibition area at theDevolution Conference 2016 taking place at the Meru National Polytechnic. Raila’s tour included a tour of the popular Mombasa County Government booth which has been a centre of attraction drawing numerous dignitaries and delegates throughout the period of the conference.

Raila noted that Mombasa offers a shining example for other counties to follow in making devolution work for the people and singled out Gov. Joho’s efficient management of resources from national government as well as his steadfast reach with potential investors.

Raila was accompanied by ODM Deputy Party Leader Wycliff Oparanya, Director of Election Junet Mohammed.

The coastal themed Mombasa stand is manned by senior county executives complimented by a retenue of uniformed county officials
