Prime minister Raila Odinga today made a grand entry into Kajiado Central constituency where he was given a super warm reception by the residents.
Prime Minister Odinga was accompanied by fellow CORD principals in event during which party candidate in the upcoming by-election Hon Elija Memusi presented his papers to IEBC returning officer.
The CORD principals escorted Memusi to Maasai Technical Training Insitutue where he presented his papers ahead of the by-election on March 16.
“Memusi Kanchori was successfully cleared to participate in the upcoming poll. We look forward to yet another victory next month,” said Raila.
“We are not here for a show of might, we are here to sell our policies and request you to elect Memusi to Parliament.”
Cord and Jubilee Alliance Party supporters came face to face during the tour.
“They only thrive in stealing and grabbing any bare land on sight. We must tell them ‘no’ by electing Memusiâ€ Wetang’ula said.
ODM secretary general Ababu Namwamba told voters that they must replace former Kajiado Central MP Joseph Nkaissery, who was elected on an ODM ticket, with Memusi.
The convoy hit off the road from Party HQ Orange house to Kitengela, Isinga, Kajiado township, Ilbisl all the way to the border town of Namanga.
