ODM Leader Raila Odinga on Friday welcomed DP Ruto back to ODM, saying he holds no grudge against the Deputy President.
Odinga reminded DP Ruto he is not the one who took him to the Hague.
“I am not a mad person to have taken my brother Ruto to ICC because he was my person during the 2007 general elections. In fact, I was the one behind the formation of a local tribunal but some of his fellow leaders from the Rift Valley region insisted on ICC, saying that let us not be vague let us go to the Hague,†added Mr Odinga.
The Cord leader who was speaking on Friday in Saroiyot Village in Kesses constituency, Uasin Gishu County during the burial of ODM matron in the region Mama Margaret Jepkoech Kimurgong, urged the Kalenjin community to remain steadfast in ODM as it is the future.
He was accompanied by MPs Oscar Sudi (Kapseret) and Jakoyo Midiwo (Gem), his daughter Rosemary Odinga and ODM officials Kipkorir Menjo (chairman, Uasin Gishu County) and David Songok (ODM North Rift coordinator).
