It was Migori Senator Dr Wilfred Machage who counselled Uhuru to treat all his 42 ‘wives’ equally. Talking heed, today, President Uhuru Kenyatta will be in Gusii highlands for a series of meetings which will culminate in a prize giving ceremony at Kisii High School.
During the visit, it is rumoured that local leaders will request Uhuru to get retiree Prof Sam Ongeri – his forgotten TNA point-man, a job.
A resident captured this visit thus:
[President]Â Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta arrives in Kenyenya in Bomachoge Borabu.By 10am,he wil be in Menyenya for a Kisii county leaders mtng.By noon he wil be in Kisii High sch for prize giving otherwise 80yrs celebration.By 2pm be in Bonchari for by-election campaign.By 4pm,leaves Gusii at own pleasure.
However, another pundit gave a not-so rosy picture of Presidential visits to Kisii School, claiming each year a president visited, the school’s KCSE results had been cancelled for that year. A jinx visit?
Here is what one social media user posted on Facebook:
WHEN president JOMO kenyatta visited KISII HIGH SCHOOL in 1973,the school’s KCE results of 1974 were cancelled
WHEN president MOI visited KISII HIGH SCHOOL in 1995,the school’s KCSE results of 1996 were cancelled
WHEN president MWAI Kibaki visited KISII HIGH SCHOOL in 2004,the school’s KCSE results of 2005 were cancelled
NOW sitting president Uhuru kenyatta is visiting KISII HIGH SCHOOL today 8th June 2014 (sic)….the school’s next year KCSE results will most probably be cancelled …
….UNLESS BABA VISITS THE SCHOOL LATER FOR PRAYERS….#peace
