The Presidency has launched a new mentoring programme where the head of state hosts best performers from across the 47 counties. The Pupils Reward Scheme (PURES) mentoring program is unique in the sense that academic achievers will for the first time join their counterparts in drama and performance arts to visit Kenya’s most coveted house – the Republic’s seat of power – state house.
Here is an elated Uhuru supporter captured it on Facebook:
Those surrounding Mr. Kenyatta as advisors must be geniuses. This mentorship program where the president hosts school kids in statehouse is a milestone. It isn’t only politically right but also relevant in motivating these young kids. If Kenyatta continues coming up with such initiatives, it will be elephant to convince common wananchi on political podiums that he is bad.
Also accompanying the students was the President’s daughter Ngina Kenyatta.
