Edick Omondi Anyanga, the MP who led other Migori County legislators to pay homage to President Uhuru at Statehouse and plan for the damp squib in Migori where the national government leader was collectively heckled by youths in Migori has been arrested.
Unconfirmed reports show that Anyanga was picked by Flying Squad offices in a gestapo style arrest which left eyewitnesses reeling for a reenactment of a Rambo movie.
Youths in Migori heckled local governor Okoth Obado in the presence of the State President, a misdemeanour which has been condemned by all quarters, save for the United Nations, the United States Government and the European Union.
African diplomats in Nairobi are expected to today take a domestic stand over the heckling. Also joining the condemnation were Kikuyu Council of Elders, several Mps, senators and governors from Mt. Kenya and its diaspora indegenes.
A few churches here and there have also decried the sort of vibrant democracy shown by Migori with the coming weekend expected to be pivotal in once again preaching peace and love to the head of state without which Nyanza will remain backward forever.
