Shocking: Police Arrest JOBLESS female GRADUATE who tried to catch President Uhuru’s attention

April 11, 2014

A bizarre case is ongoing in Busia County where the police arrested and are investigating a former Egerton University Student who tried to seek audience with President Uhuru when he attended a prayer service to mark Jubilee’s one year in power at Madende Primary School.

The 30-year-old English Literature graduate seemingly wanted to tell Uhuru she has been unable to secure a job ever since leaving college, a feat common among thousands of university students out of employment.

Police claim this was the second attempt the woman attempted to get to the President.  Teso North CID boss Herine Agola said they were still interrogating the woman to establish the motive of her conduct during the presidential rally.

Her family has pleaded with the President to pardon the woman, saying she had no ill-intentions in trying to talk to the Head of State. Her actions, they said, were caused by problems beyond her control. Her father said she had been unsuccessful in securing a job, and hoped the President would end her years of misery.
