The military aircraft carrying more bodies of the fallen Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officials arrived at Wilson airport Monday night. The remains were accorded military honours as a team of soldiers marched towards the cargo section of the aircraft to receive the caskets that were draped with the Kenyan flag.
The soldiers moved an a matching order step after another as they carried the caskets shoulder-high towards the waiting tables. Religious leaders were present to preside over the function.
The bodies will be identified then handed to family members for burial. The department of Defence is working on a plan for a joint funeral service- to be communicated later.
