The cost of getting Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Exams (KSCE) has fallen to a paltry sh50 in some regions as quacks take over the administration of the national exams to leak the questions to students.
This year, students sat exams in the backdrop of month-long teachers strike which heightened ‘exam panic’ among students, thus leading to the desire to ‘cheat’.
Several students and dealers of the exams have been arrested across the country, and a number of phones confiscated.
