I strongly condemn the sponsored violence witnessed in Olare Mr Philip Okundi’s backyard in Homabay .
Anyone opposed to any candidate has a right to express themselves through the ballot and not by hurling stones. I wish to appeal to all ODM supporters, members and officials to continue with our campaigns peacefully and graciously. Homabay county will be the re-launch of ODM/CORD push for 2017.
All candidates are requested to show leadership and decorum while appealing to their supporters. At the end of the day we are in one struggle to liberate Kenya in 2017. Friendly fire is acceptable but let us be careful not to get carried away as our opponents Jubilee are salivating and waiting with baited breath to witness divisions in Luo Nyanza our stronghold. United we stand and divided we fall.
To fellow Kenyans who are distraught over the recent abuse of power exercised by Jubilee government over the illegal passing of the security amendment bill, (Media, civil society, NGO’s, opposition and Kenyans at large) be sure that the change movement (CORD) is working tirelessly to revert the law through legal means in court today.
We hope that the courts will give Kenyans justice. These are the issues we ought to fight united as Kenyans and not who will be Senator of Homabay. I wait to see how many Senatorial aspirants will be in court today championing national interests.
Homabay is ODM and ODM is Homabay.
