The Orange Democratic Movement has called for the National Executive Committee (NEC) on November 4 to deliberate on yesterday’s ejection of party Executive Director Magerer Langat.
Hon. Langat was quoted at a conference where he was representing ODM saying his party is dead and the party leader, Hon Raila Odinga, should quit politics.
Magerer, who earned Ksh 600,000 a month as the executive head of the Orange Party found himself in trouble when his comments were published in a local newspaper.
Elected leaders of Nairobi County Assembly and local ODM officials stormed Orange House and forcefully ejected Magerer from a party meeting of the CORD secretariat chaired co-chaired by Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka and Hon. Raila Odinga.
