President Obama’s brother DISMISSES trip to Kenya as INCONSEQUENCES

Speaking to veteran film-maker, Joel Gilbert, from Kisumu,Malik Obama fired a string of salvos at his half-brother,U.S president Barrack .H. Obama in an interview posted on YouTube about a week ago. Seething with unbridled resentment, the bespectacled and dark-complected 57-year old employed an array of unflattering epithets on his famous half brother calling him a “user”,”double-faced schemer” and “lier”.

“He has totally changed since he became president and has forgotten that he has a family here in Alego,”a livid Malik said of President Obama in unmistakable American twang. He also revealed that president Obama was reluctant to contribute towards her Kenyan aunt’s,Zeituni Obama, funeral arrangement saying that the 20,000$ he was being asked to contribute was too much.

The devastating interview was conducted as a follow-up to a hugely controversial, documentary-style film entitled “Dreams From My Real Father:A Story of Reds and Deception.

Released to great fanfare in 2012,the film employs a rather revisionist approach in its treatment of Obama’s heritage and acts as a counterweight to the president’s best-seller “Dreams From my Father”.Joel Gilbert claims,in the film, that Obama’s real biological father is poet and socialist,Frank Marshal Davis;a controversial spin that calls into question the already established narrative that Barrack Obama sr.

The character-assassinating interview shines a spotlight and puts into sharp focus tensions that have strained the relationship between the U.S president and his Kenyan family.Even though the U.S State Department has confirmed his visit to Kenya slated for July,it has remained tight-lipped on whether a visit to Alego, where his family is based, is part of the president’s itinerary.

While it’s not clear whether the U.S president will spare some time for his Kenyan family, what’s for sure is that a lot of mending of fences needs to be done.
