NO TERROR LIST from us BUT here are our LIST OF RECOMMENDATIONS, Somali leaders tell President Uhuru

Somali leaders from Northern Kenya have said there will be no list of terror financiers from them except a list of recommendations which may help wipe terrorism out of their region.

This came as two CORD MPs Daniel Maanzo and Dr. Eseli Simiyu demanded that Majority Leader Aden Duale be made to release the names of terror sympathisers as he promised the country after 148 students were killed in a terror attack in a university within his constituency.

The two leaders took issue with Duale’s highly publicized comment that he ‘owes no one any apology nor any list’ of Alshabaab sympathisers.

In a report presented to the President, North Eastern region leaders have recommended the deployment of 600 security officials to the region, allocation of at least 60 vehicles and sufficient funds.

The leaders have also proposed registration of all public transport vehicles, a ban on all importation of vehicles through Somalia, as well as enforcement of a policy on registration of hotel guests by area county governments. They also want all businesses vetted afresh.
