There was drama outside MILIMANI LAW COURTS as arrested Masai leaders sought Raila Odinga’s shoulder to lean on, the CORD leader was also in court attending the hearing of a case his coalition filed against the DRACONIAN SECURITY LAWS.

The leaders led by senator Stephene Ole Ntutu said they were against the newly enacted security laws and hoped that the ongoing case will offer a verdict that will quash the security laws.

The court vicinity was turned into a mini rally as the thousands of Masai supporters mobbed Odinga chanting baba! baba! baba!

The leaders who were arrested over the chaotic Narok protests were given Sh500,000 personal bonds each.

Narok Senator Stephen ole Ntutu and MPs Moitalel ole Kenta (Narok North), Patrick Ntutu (Narok West), Johana Ngeno (Emurua Dikirr) and Korei ole Lemein (Narok South) were arrested on Wednesday evening and detained at Muthaiga Police station.

Senior principal magistrate Enock Cherono said on Thursday that the case will be mentioned on February 13.

The continued chaos in Narok may help the ODM Kajiado Central candidate consolidate the Masai vote as a protest against Jubilee considering four people have been killed (three people died in the Narok chaos and one died during the Jubilee alliance nominations in Kajiado.
