Senator Murkomen BEGS Raila Odinga to Help Push ICC DROP Ruto case

September 9, 2015 Leave a Comment

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has accused CORD Leader Raila Odinga of leaving Deputy President William Samoei Ruto to fight his ICC case alone.
Murkomen has termed the silence by the opposition ‘deafening’ as government renews diplomatic push to have the case terminated. Senator Murkomen claimed that the ongoing case against DP Ruto is hindering development in the country.

“The Cord coalition has been very silent. I believe you should support your friends when they are in a fix despite your political affiliations,” Murkomen said.

“I respect other leaders’ opinions despite our political affiliations. Leaders must embrace all communities. How else will we make it as national leaders?”

He was speaking during an interview on citizen TV.
