In his maiden speech, new Kajiado MP Elija Memusi poured praises on ODM leader Raila Odinga, ODM Director of Elections Junet Mohammed, CORD principals Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula for the support he received from them to while campaigning in Kajiado Central by election.
Hon. Memusi specifically told the house he will never forget the selflessness of Odinga, who has served the country diligently all his life.

The MP thanked the people of Kajiado for standing firm and not being swayed by Jubilee Alliance Party ‘evil’ money which have in the past been used to buy, in some occasions, whole communities. He also thanked Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and Ford Kenya Leader Moses Wetangula. Â

He took a broad swipe at Deputy President William Ruto by openly stating that former MP and Maa elder Hon. William Ole Ntimama deserve to be respected by leaders, saying some politicians once referred to him as Vasco Da Gama.
Memusi’s speech ‘disrupted’ the censure motion on Speaker of Parliament Justin B Muturi which had been moved by Kibwezi MP Dr. Patrick Musimba.
