Maina Kamanda stops Ruto ‘fixing confessions’ by Kikuyu leaders

Maina Kamanda stops Ruto ‘fixing confessions’ by Kikuyu leaders

It appears President Uhuru Kenyatta has warned politicians from Mt. Kenya region from ‘confessing’ in prayer rallies being organized to show support with Deputy President William Samoei Ruto.

The President is said to have relayed the information through Starehe MP Maina Kamanda. An SMS seen by this writer reads:

“H.E is of the view we stop further talk on ICC. This is to kindly request you to desist from making further statements which are likely to be misinterpretation or taken as admission of fixing DP Ruto. You will receive further directions. “

This is after recent revelations by Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria that he fixed Deputy President William Samoei Ruto. At the time he claimed to have done this, he was an employee of President Uhuru Kenyatta, operating from Baden Powell House.

This morning, Jubilee MPs are set to hold a series of meetings to counter CORD Leader Raila Odinga who put President Uhuru in focus, stating Moses Kuria worked for him during the period he fixed Deputy President William Samoei Ruto.
