Maina Kamanda: Kalonzo fixed Uhuru in 2012

October 12, 2015 Leave a Comment

Starehe MP Maina Kamanda has dragged in former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka’s name in the raging ICC debate claiming he did not do much to help president Uhuru escape ICC in 2012 when he shuttled a number of western countries in a bid to have the cases deferred to a later date or referred back to Kenya.

Speaking in a function yesterday in Nairobi, Kamanda sensationally claimed the former Vice President had hoped that PNU would support him despite the ‘shoddy work’ during the 2012 shuttle diplomacy which ‘did not bear any fruits’.

Kamanda dismissed Kalonzo as someone who waits for misfortune, saying he joined Kibaki regime for his selfish interests. He referred to Kalonzo as an ‘enemy’ of the Kikuyu community who has since joined Raila in sabotaging President Uhuru’s government.

“When your enemy comes to see you on your sick bed, don’t think that he has come to wish you well. In real sense, he wants to see if you will live or die,” said Mr Kamanda.

Kamanda now wants Kalonzo to record statements over what he knew in Uhuru cases.

Kamanda was responding to recent statements from CORD that Uhuru fixed DP Ruto. He wondered who then fixed Uhuru, who was himself a suspect at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
