ODM boss SAYS ‘Men in Black’ who caused Chaos Yesterday were Mayor Aladwa’s boys!

Hi friends,I have found it important to comment on yesterday’s ODM day Of Shame. First I am well and was not injured but it is true that ‘the goons in Black suits’ were baying
for my blood and those of NEB commissioners.

As the chief planner of the event,I can say without any fear of contradiction that we planned well and we had adequate Security in and around the Gymnasium. All the material and personnel hired and trained were ready to undertake the most important agenda of the day that is elections of national officials. Good God gave us wisdom and secretly procured the materials and sneaked them to Kasarani to a very secure place coz we knew all along that not everyone wanted this process to succeed.

The screening was good until Aladwas boys pushed their way in and 300 claiming to be TJs and hosts from kasarani also pushed their way in. I saw prominent persons giving them money to share before and after the fracas.

I saw others carrying water branded with a candidate’s name and every time they accessed the gymnasium they never left and their numbers kept building.

I reported this case for directions but I was never given answers. Despite the presence of police, this was still a party politics and the youths kept engaging them with chides like ;’this is our party and besides where were you when our votes were being stolen’ you cant police us, hii ni chama ya baba etc.

The security led by kasarani OCPD agreed to allow them so long as they were not going to cause chaos and disturb peace. Job, Benard Kadundo, and others seemed to have been commanding the rest.

I hope there shall be real investigation as promised by the party leader yesterday. As for
me,I am deeply disturbed by this turn of events and I shall make my independent thoughts known after the investigation is completed.

I still say am safe and unharmed and thank God for bringing us this far.
