Four MPs have been recommended for expulsion from PAC after investigations into corruption allegations bedevilling the committee.
While the Powers and Privileges Committee did not find any substantive issues of corruption on the committee, nevertheless, to renew public trust on the committee, it recommended chairperson Ababu Namwamba, Vice Chair Cecily Mbarire and MPs Abbas Mohammed, Edick Anyanga and James Bett.
The Committee however found no fault in the other members of PAC and recommended they can be re-appointed to continue being members of the committee.
PAC MPs included  Gonzi Rai (TNA), Joel Onyancha (TNA), Jude Njomo (TNA), Kareke Mbiuki (TNA), Jackson Rop (URP), Julius Melly (URP), James Bett (URP), Arthur Odera(URP), Mathias Robi (URP) Fathia Mahbub (URP), Stephen Manoti (Ford People), Joseph Manje (TNA) and Edick Anyanga (ODM).
Others include Cecily Mbarire, Junet Mohammed, John Mbadi, Alice Nyanchoka(ODM), Manson Nyamweya(ODM), Charles Geni(ODM), Silvance Osele (ODM), Jessica Mbalu (Wiper), Sakwa Bunyasi (UDF) and Katatha Maweu (Independent).
