President Uhuru Kenyatta’s party strategist Moses Kuria has been cornered over his recent actions both on social media and elsewhere by the country’s justice system.
Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko has directed CID to provide it with the police file where tech blogger Robert Alai reported alleged attempts by Kuria, David Matsanga and another unidentified person (a journalist) to kill him.
The Director of Public Prosecutions has received complaint with regard to the above subject matter from the advocates acting on behalf of the  complainant, Robert Alai. . .you [CID] are hereby directed to provide a copy of the police file to the Director of Public Prosecutions for perusal purposes and direction.
Until DPP took over the case, the CID is said to have done nothing about it.
Alai released an audio (you can listen to it here) where the three are heard openly planning to kill the blogger over petty grievances. Even more absurd, Kuria recently called on people to carry out acts of violence against perceived people and communities seen to be terrorists, or sympathetic to terrorists.
The social media transgressions were brought to the attention of the DPP by Law Society of Kenya.
