The country is mourning the death of KTN Swahili news anchor Ahmed Dharwesh. The Super anchor has been battling with Diabetes.
Darwesh who was well as on Sunday December 13, and even did the 7pm news, died at Mater Hospital on Monday after he succumbed to diabetes that had earlier on in the day immobilized him at his South C home. He was rushed to the hospital and later pronounced dead.
Known for his distinct introduction and an undisputed command of the Swahili language, Darwesh was a favourite among TV viewers in the KTN Leo news bulletin. â€œ….. Ni furaha ilioje mpenzi mtazamaji tunapojiunga nawe papa hapa kwenye taarifa za ktn Leo wikendi…hujambo na Karibu…wanakkwetu wananiita Ahmed Darwesh….. Kwanza tupate vidokezo….â€ he was known to start his bulletin.
