North Mugirango MP Charles Geni has dismissed recent visit to state house by a group of Kisii leaders saying the region is still an ODM zone.
Hon. Geni said the Gusii are intact in ODM, and warned against using government resources to buy political support in the region. Geni said almost all development projects by the national government has stalled in the region, yet the same government has continued to frustrate allocation to counties.
The MP accused Deputy President William Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta of bringing back politics of money which Kenyans had forgotten in the 10 year absence of KANU.
The MP said only an ODM government led by Raila Odinga can deliver the devolution promise to the region and everywhere across the country in an equitable sharing of national resources.
He was speaking in Nyamira Town when he condemned recent buying of MCAs many who now say they never got the sh 20,000 promised them by ‘Gusii unity’ conveners of the state house tour.
