There was drama as Kibra youths blocked the road and demanded for ex Raila presidential campaign manager Eliud Owalo to address them as he made his way to a harambee meeting in Kibra on Sunday morning. Owaolo’s popularity seem to be growing by the day as area MP Ken Okoth struggles to remain relevant in populous slum constituency of Nairobi county.
Owalo has declared interest in Kibra constituency parliamentary seat in the 2017 general election however political analysts have indicated that with his growing popularity he stands a better chance of being Nairobi governor and will easily dislodge the non performing Kalausi captain Evans Kidero. If Owalo goes for governor’s seat then Kibra constituency will be a child play between the incumbent hon Ken Okoth and his friend Fidel Odinga,
Back to today’s drama, Owalo finally got to his destination and entertainment was in abundance as was captured by bad ass blogger Dikembe Disembe- follow the Facebook link below
