Kakamega Senator Bonnie Khalwale has dared Nairobi Governor Dr. Evans Kidero to take him to court over Mumias sugar company scandal.
Dr. Khalwale maintains Gov. Kidero looted the company. Gov. Kidero demanded that Sen. Khalwale apologizes within three days for linking him to the scandal failure to which he will sue. However, Senator Khalwale has told him he is daydreaming. Won’t apologize.
President Uhuru bailed out the company in a sh1 billion ceremony which has seen western Kenya leaders declare open war on those perceived to have brought the miller down.
It is not just Kidero under radar by western MPs. Two UDF MPs from the region have accused ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga as among those whose companies owe the miller millions in debt. We could independently verify these claims though.
Here are hard-hitting tweets from Khalwale:
Â
Dr Kidero, stop legal gymnastics en face me like a man! I challenge u for rally in Kisumu or Kakamega we talk about the collapse of Mumias
