After Ker Otondi ROASTING, Ex Raila aide Eliud Owalo set for Radio interview at Nam Lomwe FM

November 16, 2014

After Ker Otondi sacking, Owalo appears for interview at Nam Lomwe FMA
2017 Kibra parliamentary aspirant and an increasingly influential figure in ODM cicrcles Mr. Eliud Owalo will be tomorrow be appearing on a live interview at Radio NAM LOLWE FM in the morning between 07:45 and 09:00 am E.A.T.

Radio Nam Lolwe is the most established radio station in the Western region of Kenya and it receives a significant amount call-in listeners from all over the country and the Luo diaspora in Europe and North America.

Interestingly, Mr. Owalo becomes the first senior national personality from Luo Nyanza to appear on Nam Lolwe FM breakfast show after former Luo Council of Elders Chairman Ker Willis Opiyo Otondi who was hosted there last week during which time he made remarks to the effect that the elders were mentoring a successor to inherit the mantle of CORD leader Raila Odinga who is still active in politics.

Mzee Otondi was immediately relieved of his Ker duties by fellow elders following his controversial remarks at Nam Lol we studios. No one remembers Luo elders mentoring Hon. Raila to take over from anyone and it is suspected Otondi was using his position to campaign for an unnamed political upstart, something considered an abomination in Luo cultural practices.

Mr Odinga has not publicly commented on the said interview and was in fact seen on an extensive tour of Kibra in the company of Mr Owalo in the earlier in the week. Nam Lol we has significant following

It promises to be a mouth watering interview given Mr. Owalo’s strong support for Hon Odinga’s 2017 presidential ambition and anyone interested in Luo politics is encouraged to follow the discussions by tuning in on the following frequencies:

97.3FM for Nyanza and Western,
101.5 FM for Nairobi,
94.7 FM for Mombasa,
87.7FM for Nakuru and
87.8FM for Malindi.
