CORD Leaders Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula will today hold a rally at Awendo Green Stadium as part of Opposition series of public meetings to warn farmers against bad sugar from Uganda.
Kalonzo who jetted back from China a day ago will lead other CORD leaders in the region ahead of two more rallies in Kakamega and Bungoma.
Meanwhile, ODM Leader Raila Odinga is in South Sudan on undisclosed business. The former Prime Minister is said to be part of informal regional leaders earmarked to persuade President Salva Kiir and Rebel Leader Riek Machar to respect the peace deal signed in Ethiopia under IGAD.
President Uhuru has been pushing for peaceful resolution of the Sudan conflict among other regional leaders.
