Kalonzo: President Uhuru’s ‘madimoni men’ offered me money to decamp from CORD, I refused

May 5, 2015 Leave a Comment

CORD co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has said President Uhuru’s men offered him to decamp from CORD but he refused.

Kalonzo had been earmarked to replace Speaker Justin Muturi.

Speaking at a fundraiser in Ukambani over the weekend where CORD co-principal Moses Wetangula accompanied him, Kalonzo said he is not for sale.

“I am not ready to receive money (from Jubilee) that is a poisoned chalice which they try to offer me with conditions. My morality cannot be compromised,” Kalonzo said.

Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior, Makueni Woman Representative Rose Museo, her Machakos counterpart Susan Musyoka, Makueni MP Daniel Maanzo, and among others were present during the meeting.
