Kajiado Governor David Nkedienye has fired county ICT officer Tima Sankaire who was caught on camera by the star and arrested by police for bribing voters to elect JAP’s candidate Patrick Tutui.

Sankaire is also alleged to have used vile language on the governor and ODM officials during the process of the elections, openly boasting how he is close to State house and no one can touch him.

After arrest, he was bailed out by the losing candidate’s agents even as he, Tutui, claimed that ODM’ Elija Memusi had rigged the elections.

Gov. Nkedienye, an ODM elected governor, said the officer’s conduct had brought public disrepute to the county as he is a civil servant required by law to remain apolitical.

Nkadienye has congratulated ODM for conducting a superb campaign which led the party to clinch the seat.
