Statehouse director of New media Dennis Itumbi has said Mr. Ndege, the Naivasha victim of post-election violence whose entire family was burnt in their house by the Mungiki while he escaped with more than 60% burns, is suffering from a skin disease and not burns.
Mr. Itumbi posted a question on his Facebook account suggestive questions that according to critics, are meant to mock Mr. Ndege y questioning the sincereity of his artificial light skin. Here is what Itumbi posted:
“I have a question this morning. If you are burnt by a fire, to a level you are unconscious and you sustain burns from the head to the toes….assuming 60% degrees of burns how long would it take you to treat that to a level that you can comfortably walk without any further checks? Can it take less than 5 months to completely heal? Doctors, Nurses and even those like me with Google knowledge on the matter kindly share your thoughts…..” … Dennis Itumbi on Facebook
The Mungiki attackers ambushed Mr. Ndege and set ablaze his house with 11 members of his family inside. They all perished and he too sustained serious injuries as he tried to rescue them.
