Heaven took the better part of our religious Deputy President during a tour to North Eastern Kenya where he revealed KNEC will not add even a single extra day to students from the region planning to seat national exams despite being out of school for the better part of the year due to insecurity.
Too little too late, however, the DP revealed the region will be allowed to 800 extra slots in Teacher training institutions and some 500 Untrained Teachers who wish to volunteer to teach in the region will be catered for by the education ministry.
Then DP turned to the holy book and started preaching the gospel, including, but not limited to, where each of us should store their earthly belongings -heaven.
This is despite the fact that the DP’s known earthly belongs -Weston hotel and Easton Apartments – are right here on earth.
The Bible says blessed is the hand that gives than the one that takes. It also says put your treasure in Heaven where no thief can steal.
