After Allegedly Revealing ICC witnesses, Citizen TV’S Willis Raburu Off For CNN Journalism fellowship

October 14, 2013

He had been the next big thing for so long that when he marched the extra mile, a reputation almost got damaged and a career came tumbling down. At the precipice, Willis Raburu ‘revealed’ the identity of an ICC witness, shocking the world that always felt he ‘appeared’ rational.

However, to arrest the situation, Royal Media services boss, the quintessential SK Macharia, a mogul in Kenya’s broadcasting industry, sent the young boy away to go learn how to ‘break news’ in the 21st century!

Willis Raburu is off for a fellowship. Moles say he was given a CNN fellowship scholarship to go for a short sabbatical in the United States. Which is better than looking for truth in David Matsanga’s trending verbiage – ooh – and the man is already a kenyan media sensation.

Before he left, his friends and peers, especially those who share the vernacular, had changed his name upside down, nostalgically nicknaming him Willis Raura. Now, it so happens that in Luo, the word ‘raura’ means an ‘idiotic person’, a term which ‘Breakthrough’ has gone to US to change completely.
