Victims of Mandera terror attack were today buried in Kakamega County as the region’s leaders heightened calls on the government to secure Kenyans.
The victims, majority of whom were  teachers, met their brutal end on the hands of Al Shabaab terrorists as they travelled back home for holidays after the closing of schools.
Kakamega County county Gov Wycliffe Oparanya led the mourners in paying their last respects. Among those present were Prime Minister Raila Odinga and several local MPs from western.
Conspicuously absent were top officials of the Jubilee government.
