Kiambu Governor William kabogo has cautioned Jubilee leaders who have opened the ICC case that they risk returning the country into strife yet ‘people have healed’.
Governor Kabogo took particular issue with Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria who has recently stated the he fixed Deputy President William Samoei Ruto and he is ready to testify at the ICC, a development which has shocked the Kikuyu political establishment to the core.
Perhaps, having been a player in 2007, Governor Kabogo, a former member of parliament for Juja, knows so well how Kuria’s recklessness, made in the frenzy of the moment, Â can turn disastrous in the fullness of time.
“Where are we headed as a country? Why are they coming out now? They ought to have done that a long time ago. The nation is healing while some people are opening up wounds, which had already recovered,†said Kabogo
Governor Kabogo said if whatever Kuria is confessing is true, he ought to have done it when ICC was collecting evidence as it could have saved Kenyans from being arraigned at the ICC.
