Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has enrolled for a course in Political Science at the prestigious university of Nairobi.

Joho, whose degree from Kampala International University has been contested in a long running legal battle appear to have decided to take the degree course at UoN were his detractors cannot accuse him of forging academic credentials.

The governor is said to be an active student in the political science class, sharing his insights with fellow classmates, despite being the chief executive of Kenya’s second largest economic hub.

Joho is also the Deputy Party Leader of ODM, a position which is a heartbeat away from the Party Leader, who is the de facto presidential candidate of the Orange Party. Joho is said to be setting his eyes for a stub at the presidency in 2022.
