This morning we launched the newly re-branded Inspectorate Department. As part of the transformation, the officers have not only got a fresh look with the new uniforms but also received training in public relations and ethics. From today hence forth the old Khaki and White uniforms has been officially decommissioned and will not be adorned by any officer.

The department has been working closely with the Kenya Police in alleviating petty crimes and traffic management. Since we launched the joint fight against drugs in partnership with the police and the community they have made over 80 arrests within the County.

We will also be setting up and internal anti-corruption unit to monitor the Department
