Governor KIDERO sacks Jubilee ‘ministers’ John Gakuo and Tim Kingondu

Governor KIDERO sacks Jubilee ‘ministers’ John Gakuo and Tim Kingondu

October 7, 2014

Nairobi City County has experienced a far-reaching reshuffle after former town clerk John Gakuo and Dr. Timothy Kingondu resigned from their positions in the county executive committee.

Their resignation can only be interpreted to be geared towards having a clean, and safe distance with the messes of incumbency that Governor Kidero will face in 2017. Gakuo and Kingondu were part of the unexpected faces of Kidero cabinet after the 2013 elections.

As part of these changes; Anne Lokidor – Formerly CECM Agriculture, Fisheries and Livestock Development has been appointed to the
Information Communication Technology docket replacing Mohamed Abdullahi who has now been appointed CECM, Roads, Transport and Public Works.

Evans Ondieki moves to Environment, Natural Resources, Water and Energy. Anna Othoro, Tom Odongo and Greggory Mwakanongo will remain in their respective dockets of Trade, Industrialization, Tourism & Cooperative Development; Lands, Housing & Physical Planning and Finance & Economic Planning respectively.
