Raila son Fidel Odinga’s VISIT to Parliament SHOCKS REBEL Luo MPs

Raila son Fidel Odinga’s VISIT to Parliament SHOCKS REBEL Luo MPs

November 21, 2014

In what is yet another clear indication that Fidel Odinga will be on the ballot come 2017, the son of CORD Leader Raila Odinga visited parliament on Wednesday accompanied by Raila Odinga and former Vice President kalonzo Musyoka.

Fidel’s presence in parliament caused a murmur among a section of ‘rebel’ Luo Mps who were reported to have been uneasy with the young Odinga.

In Kisumu, youths allegedly procured by Kisumu Central MP Ken Obura recently demonstrated when news leaked that Fidel will most likely run for the seat.

Obura, who revealed he supports the Jubilee side and has already been stripped of his committee role courtesy of ODM is leading a fierce protest in Luo Nyanza with reports that he and others are gravitating towards Rongo MP Dalmas Otieno.

Dalmas has since declared he will contest the presidency on Kalausi ticket.

A source close to the young Odinga told this writer he intends to assemble his own political machine in mid 2015 and has not decided yet where he will make his first entry from. It is said Fidel is monitoring at least three constituencies with Kisumu Central high up in his list.

The other two is Kibra and his rural birthplace of Bondo in Siaya County.
