President Uhuru Kenyatta was on Saturday left stranded for more than 15 minutes waiting for state vehicles to pick him in Ghana.

Uhuru went to the country to celebrate its 59 years of independence alongside other heads of state.

It was reported that former President Jerry John Rawlings went to keep Uhuru company after seeing him stranded as Foreign Affairs minister Hannah Tetteh “ran around to salvage the situation”.

The website added that the President clearly displayed “displeasure and disgust” before Rawlings walked up to him. State House officials could not be reached for comment.
