Eugene Wamalwa finally sworn in despite URP protest

President Uhuru Kenyatta today witnessed the swearing in of his newest cabinet member, Mr. Eugene Wamalwa. Wamalwa will now be in charge of Water and Irrigation Ministry which have been hived off Agriculture and Natural Resources ministries respectively.

The swearing in of Mr. Wamalwa was alleged to have run in trouble as URP protested the hiving off of one of the highest funded portfolios in the agriculture ministry -irrigation.

Over sh 10 billion has been set aside for irrigation in the current financial year.
