The young widow of slain former MP George Muchai bodyguard, Samuel Kimathi, will celebrate his 27th birthday on his burial day, revealing a shocking reality of the tragic loss of young people, especially police officers, on the line of duty.
The slain guard together with his colleague and a driver suffered their boss’ fate, as they were shot in the Saturday dawn deadly incident.
The wife, Lydia Makena, narrated how he logged onto Facebook to receive the shocking news of her husband’s murder after calls to his phone went unanswered.
Muchai and his companions were shot dead at 3am on Saturday and police are yet to unravel the shocking killings which have numbed the country till now.
Also, no one has come forward to claim responsibility of the murders, including COTU’s Francis Atwoli.
