Dr. Alfred Mutua SHOCKED as only 271 people turn up for his anti-Kalonzo rally

Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua will rue the day he started opposing Wiper maestro and CORD luminary Kalonzo Musyoka.

In a rally well publicized, Mutua found himself addressing empty stop-overs as people shunned his anti-Kalonzo rallies. In some instances, the attendees were countable. In one instant, the number stood at 271. Amazing!

Mutua is being propped up by Jubilee regime to take over from Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka who declined to re-join the government after he was thrown under the bus just before March 4 elections in 2013.

Kalonzo was told that he had no ‘numbers’ and thus couldn’t be the joint candidate on the Jubilee ticket. Frustrated and nowhere to turn to, he then grudgingly join Odinga after much prodding by the late Mutula Kilonzo and Senator Johnstone Muthama.

Since then, Kalonzo has steadily resisted attempts to cross over and join Uhuru, despite the millions of shillings and job offers that have been thrown at him.

The frustration with an adamant Kalonzo then led Jubilee into picking Mutua who is receiving full government support, including billions of shillings, to turn the tide in Ukambani in the so called ‘Maendeleo Chapa Chap’. Beginning last week, Mutua has been holding delegations after delegations to chart a ‘maendeleo chap chap’ course in Ukambani.

However, with the lukewarm reception and, in some places, total snub, the Machakos Governor may be facing his last days of glory.

Sources close to Kalonzo say the Wiper Leader is unperturbed by the shenanigans coming from Dr. Mutua, so is Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama.
