Opposition push to launch referendum drive suffered another blow as the country descended into mourning of the students killed in terrorist attack at Garissa University College.
The referendum , dubbed Okoa Kenya, has been postponed for a further two weeks as the tragedy of the Garissa massacre deepens.
“As of last night, we received reports of more families unable to find their loved ones among the survivors or the dead and several bodies not yet identified. . .consequently, Okoa Kenya initiative has postponed the launch of the bill with two weeks,” said Paul Mwangi, Okoa Kenya Committee of Experts Chairman.
