A group of central Kenya leaders now want Deputy President William Ruto to severe links with the International Criminal Court after the court allowed new evidence in DP Ruto case.
Chief Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda recently came closer to jailing DP Ruto for good when he convinced the appeals chamber to submit evidence of witnesses who have since recanted their evidence revealing massive tempering.
The Appeals Chamber allowed her to use the evidence of five witnesses who became hostile while others disappeared. It is believed the five include top state officials who worked under PNU.
Murang’a senator Kembi Gitura is leading the selfish charade, cheered by Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu and Runyenjes MP Cecily Mbarire.
Others who have dismissed the court in recent times include speaker Justin Muturi and State House blogger Dennis Itumbi.
However, Rift Valley leaders are silent on the issue, with most Kalenjin MPs not commenting on it publicly.
