Devolution CS Anne Waiguru is expected to appear before National Assembly’s Departmental Committee on Finance, Planning and Trade to answer to various questions surrounding recent exposes at the National Youth Service and Ministry of Planning and Devolution.
The grilling will take place this morning at County Hall.
The powerful cabinet secretary has received a strong backing from State House, TNA MPs and and the influential Kikuyu Council of Elders over allegations that her ministry may have been involved in corruption with regard to the National Youth Service supplies and acquisitions.
Thousands of NYS servicemen and women poured into the streets of Nairobi and Kisumu in support of the CS, claiming the allegations against her are witch-hunt.
MPs Opiyo Wandayi, Manson Nyamweya, Francis Mwangangi, Ronald Tonui and Abdullswamad Shariff Nassir  are set to receive responses to the questions they filed to the CS.
